One of the most important things you have to do at ISSB is to make friends. You have to start making friends right from the moment when you enter the ISSB centre gate, or perhaps before that e.g. Rahwali check post waiting room. The question might come in your mind, why make friends with these guys who are there to get selected? They are my competitors. Why would I be friends with them? When it comes to individual tasks people think the more tasks they do the better impression they will make, but thats just a myth. I have seen people crossing 17 obstacles and getting rejected and those who did only 4 5 got recommended. Short Lecturette Topic in ISSB is the part of GTO Indoor Tasks. It is nearly same as that of Group Discussion. In this test, a GTO will give you a topic for giving lecture. Topics are easy, mainly form the current affairs. If you have a good knowlege, then you can easily deliver a Lecture. Group Planning Or Military planning is the third GTO Indoor Task. In this Task, GTO will give a situation on model placed on the table to solve. Progressive Group Task is the first Outdoor task of GTO. In out door task, GTO will observe all the candidates practically. Progressive task is a long task in which all the members of the group take part to tackle the task. In other words, whole group will take part in this task of ISSB. It is a big test to judge your performance and personality in group form. GTO will check your perfomance in ISSB Progressive Task in Team. In progressive group task, all the members of the group take part to complete the task. But in the Half Group Task, group members which are usually 8 to 10 in numbers, are divided into 2 or 3 sub groups. Half Group Task and Progressive Group Task in ISSB are similar, but the difference is that the Half Group Task has a Short Task as compared to Progressive Group Tasks and in the Half Group Task in ISSB all the members of the group does not take part altogether. In this test, you are commander and you have to accomplish the given task within time. In this test, your commanding abilities are judged by GTO.
